Open Forum

Hi Everyone,

I know the dogs days of summer are wearing you down.  The summer is flying by quickly, bills were due today and there are just 6 weeks until the first day of class.  How did the time fly by so quickly?

It is at this point when I know you start to forget all that we discussed in June and probably have some lingering questions out there that are just waiting to be answered.  I will open this blog up as an Open Forum to ask those questions.  Please feel free to ask. 

Those of you who wanted to be a part of the Parent Advisory Group will be getting an email from Dean Stoops in a few days, and I am hard at work to make this video for Black & Gold Beginnings.  Your students will be so proud of you, based on what I've seen.

Gentle Reminders

Hello Everyone,

As the summer marches on and the temperature continues to rise I just want to give you some gentle reminders that will help you this month.

• Please submit your health forms to Health Services and your Housing Application to Residence Life and Housing, your student's room assignment is contingent upon these forms being submitted.
• Collegiate Link is ready to accept registration for the Wet Feet Retreat and various events at Black & Gold Beginnings.  They are all on a first-come, first-serve basis, so the sooner you register the better.
• Make sure that all promissory notes signed and outside scholarship information has been submitted to the Financial Aid office.
• If your student needs to adjust their schedule in some way due to sports or some other legitimate reason (not too early, work, etc.).  That can be done starting July 15th by stopping by CASA or call at 508.626.4540.
• The resident parking wait list will go live on July 14th on the University Police website http://www.framingham.edu/campus-police/parking-on-campus/index.html and follow their instructions.

Student Bills are Available

Hello Dedicated Parents,

I hope you enjoyed your time at Parent Orientation over the past couple of weeks and are ready to get down to business.  Today is the day that each student received an email from Student Accounts stating that their Fall 2014 bills were available to view on myFramingham. 

They will need to log in to my Framingham to view their individual bill. If you are the one paying this bill they should authorize you to have the ability to see the bill as well.  You learned how to do that during orientation. 

All bills are due on July 22, 2014.  If you have a problem with this date please don't hesitate to call Student Accounts at 508.626.4514 to discuss your options.  If there is financial aid that is not included on your bill and should be, you should call Financial Aid at 508.626.4537. 

For those of you using Tuition Management Service (TMS) don't hesitate to contact them with any questions you may have as well.
